He loves me?

Wild oxeye daisies have grown right by our gate. They keep track of our comings and goings. Their bright little faces are hard to ignore. Their faces are right in our face when we bend over to pull up the chain and lock to secure the gate. Either they saturate us with rain drops or cover us in pollen. What I deduce from this is "He Loves Me!" Otherwise my husband would have chopped them down by now.

Honey bees - a good sign!

And then there were the pretenders.

End of the week

Sometimes, when you just can't give or do any more... it is best to restore your battery with a little playtime.
Add a few photo effects and this is what you get.

Liquid Sunshine

May 3... the cats lay next to the warm fire. Super's faire a hearty soup. The day began with soft rain. As the day progressed heavy rains replaced the delicate drops. Now, as the light is squeezed from the day there is a steady drumming on the roof.
Liquid Sunshine.
